Kokedama with pink hoya (Hoya carnosa) in a hanging version, hung on a brass hook.
I made the kokedama a few weeks ago, so I'm sure the plant has taken root well and is growing steadily.
Hoya is a climbing plant that naturally expands and elongates its shoots over time. The hanging form allows for observation of this growth, and the composition itself gradually changes with the plant. The ball was designed to allow for further development and free growth of the shoots.
I handcrafted the brass hook and adjusted its proportions to the scale of the composition. The simple design allows the plant to be displayed without additional elements.

CARE
K
It's best to hang a hoya kokedama in a bright spot with access to indirect light. Watering involves soaking the ball in water for about 10-15 minutes. Adjust the watering frequency to the room's conditions – once a week works well for most interiors.
The soil mix I used is nutritious, so fertilizing for extended periods isn't necessary. The first fertilization can usually be applied after about a year, and the plant's reaction can be monitored.
The plant tolerates hanging well and will continue to grow over time. If it begins to significantly increase in size or the roots begin to outgrow the ball, please contact me – I can enlarge it if necessary or advise on how to proceed.
Kokedama is a living plant arrangement. I only ship healthy and well-rooted plants, but their continued development depends on the indoor conditions and subsequent care.
