I create and teach how to create

Hi, I'm Joanna

Take a look at my studio in Mokotów

I design and make all my items myself, experimenting with materials, colors, and production techniques. Sometimes I spend hours drawing shapes, analyzing and perfecting details. Jewelry and artistic craftsmanship are my passion. I'm happy to have been able to share it with others professionally and with great pleasure for several years now.
I've always loved plants, like art. I surround myself with them in my home and studio, but above all, I admire them in nature. They're a leitmotif of my workshops and a frequent accent in my jewelry and decorative pieces.
Where did it all start?
As a teenager, I tried creating jewelry with simple metal ornaments. They were created without the proper knowledge or tools – the oldest known method of trial and error 😉 Later, I studied jewelry design, and I knew then that I wanted to pursue it professionally. Initially, I created more classic designs and metalwork, primarily in silver and copper, while also experimenting with unusual materials. A little later, I also began creating my first silhouette pieces, and that's what I create to this day.
Over time, I became interested in larger forms and other materials. I began experimenting with concrete—first in jewelry, and soon after, ideas for clocks emerged. My love of plants also inspired me to create kokedama. Now you can order these beautiful, green arrangements at online store or learn to make them yourself – on my workshops.

Inspiration for creation comes from the surroundings
They appear naturally, especially while traveling and participating in outdoor sports. They find me in Norwegian fjords, galloping through the forest, whitewater rafting, or exploring caves. Nordic countries fascinate me when traveling. I regularly visit Scandinavian countries, most often Norway. I've also been captivated by the stark, monochromatic landscapes of northern Canada and the Faroe Islands.
However, despite my love of nature, I can't imagine life outside the city. It's also a source of inspiration for me – I draw ideas from the architecture of buildings I pass by, urban nature (including that which creeps in uninvited), and everyday objects. I focus on details, proportions, and composition, discovering the relationships between objects and their surroundings. I also have urban fascinations: first London, then for a long time Berlin, and now Copenhagen.
Visit me in the studio!
You can usually find me in my atmospheric studio in Mokotów. There, you'll see not only the products on display in my online store, but also more works: jewelry made in single pieces and clocks with unusual colors. A visit to the studio is also your only chance to purchase kusamono—it's not available online.
I'd be happy to tell you about individual items, techniques for creating them, and how to care for them. See you there!
I don't have regular working hours, so if you plan to visit me in the studio, it's best call or write.
