I made the kokedama a few weeks ago, so I'm sure the plant has taken root well and is growing steadily, and its root system has safely adapted to the original substrate.
Philodendron 'Green Princess' is characterized by its rather compact form and deep green leaves with subtle variegation, which becomes increasingly pronounced with age. As the plant grows, it thickens, sprouting new leaves, adding volume to the composition and contrasting beautifully with the rounded shape of the moss.
I forgone a traditional pot in favor of a natural moss cover, which highlights the botanical structure of the form. I placed the composition on a simple, light concrete base, which I hand-cast. Its stark, cool hue perfectly highlights the dark green of the leaves and gives the whole piece a sculptural character.
The object will work great as an original table composition, decoration on a dresser or desk, introducing a raw, natural accent to the interior.

CARE
Provide the plant with a bright spot and diffused light. Watering involves soaking the moss ball in water for about 10-15 minutes, then draining off the excess. In most interiors, once a week is sufficient, but it's worth adjusting the frequency based on the prevailing temperature and humidity. You don't have to worry about frequent fertilization – I used a nutrient-rich, proprietary soil mix. If you have any questions about the plant's later growth, I'll be happy to advise on proper care. The kokedama is carefully protected for transport in an eco-friendly cardboard packaging, with matching filling to stabilize the plant and base.
Shipping is dependent on weather conditions. In extremely cold or hot weather, shipping may be delayed or postponed. In such cases, I will contact the buyer to arrange a safe delivery date.
Kokedama is a living plant arrangement. I only ship healthy and well-rooted plants, but their continued development depends on the indoor conditions and subsequent care.
