How to care for concrete clocks with reindeer moss?
The lichen used in my clocks is stabilized, so it doesn't require watering or any maintenance. It retains its color and softness for many years, provided it's kept in a room with moderate humidity.
I place the moss in the recesses of the concrete, which better protects it from accidental damage during everyday use. The moss also has antistatic properties, so it doesn't attract dust. In practice, this means that a concrete clock requires no special care and retains its natural appearance for many years.
The colors of concrete and lichen clocks
The store offers concrete clocks in two basic variants: light and dark architectural concrete. Each is paired with a natural, intensely green lichen, which highlights the raw nature of the material.
