How to care for brass brooches?

I have good news: you practically don't have to. Using high-quality brass ensures that your brooches will withstand everyday wear and tear and retain their shine for years to come. Just follow these two rules.

• Be careful with moisture
  Do not expose brass brooches to moisture, especially for extended periods, as the brass may darken slightly and deposits may appear where water has been dropped. Store them in a dry place, preferably in soft bags or jewelry boxes.
• Cleaning brass brooches
  If the brooch has been left in a damp place for a long time, has been scratched, has water residue, or is simply dirty, you can easily clean it yourself using the rough side of a dishwashing sponge.
