Kusamono with peperomia, planted in a small concrete pot made by me.
I prepared the composition a few months ago, so I am sure that the plant has taken root well and is growing steadily.
Peperomia forms compact clumps of bright, fleshy leaves. It grows slowly, allowing it to maintain the proportions of a small plant for a long time. Over time, it gradually thickens and produces new growth, changing the kusamono's appearance.
I handcrafted the vessel from light-colored concrete. Its organic form, inspired by naturally polished stone, contrasts with the distinct leaf pattern. A light-colored stone placed next to the plant completes the composition.

KUSAMONO CARE
It's best to place the plant in a bright spot with access to diffused light. The plant also does well in slightly dimmer interiors.
Watering should be moderate. It's a good idea to let the soil dry out a bit before watering again. Its fleshy leaves store water, so peperomias tolerate brief dry spells better than excessive moisture.
The soil mixture I used is nutritious, so fertilization for a long time is not necessary.
The plant will gradually grow and thicken, maintaining the compact nature of the composition.
DIMENSIONS
- vessel dimensions: 9 x 6 x 4 cm
- total height: 9 cm
- composition width: 11
PACKING AND SHIPPING
The plant is carefully protected for transport in an ecological cardboard packaging, with a matching filling to stabilize the plant and the vessel.
Shipping is dependent on weather conditions. In extremely cold or hot weather, shipping may be delayed or postponed. In such cases, I will contact the buyer to arrange a safe delivery date.
Kusamono is a living plant composition. I only ship healthy and well-growing plants, but their continued development depends on the indoor conditions and subsequent care.
